Graduate Social Media Plan
Updated: Feb 13, 2023
April - May 2016
For a group project, I and one other teammate edited the USU graduate student social media plan from TEDxUSU. It was originally created as a presentation but our client wanted it to be adapted as a reference source. We increased the efficiency of whitespace, recreated text in a concise and easily readable format that could be reused in both print and electronic form, and reduced the document size so that space was not wasted. To do this, I reorganized and resized the elements, (such as headers and graphics) placing design objects side by side. We also condensed content to allow sections to coexist on the same page. We cut out unnecessary and redundant text and reworded for parallelism. The graphics were resized so they did not dominate the pages, making it more of a quick-reference guide. We also emphasized terms and ideas that were central to the document’s purpose as an informative guide.
